Our client incorporated the latest sustainable technologies seamlessly into the property design and the exterior is sympathetic to the homes rural surroundings too. Winning the United Kingdom Property award, placed in the Development Sector category, as one of the first properties to truly merge eco living and high-end design, leading the way for sustainable development.

Entrants for this category were judged against a strict set of criteria and the company was up against a number of high-profile developers in the country. The Award winners logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the industry.

The award judging panel consists of over 70 highly respected experts from all over the world and is chaired by three active members of the House of Lords: Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Courtown, Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said he was delighted to celebrate the achievements of UK Developers, commenting, If anyone needed any evidence that the UK is in good shape after the problems of recent years, they only need to look at our UK award winners and see the stunning developments across the UK.

The striking combination of tessellated brickwork and glass pay tribute to the sites history as a former brick makers as well as helping the home achieve its low carbon status. All bricks were handmade and locally sourced while the glass walls were designed to reduce dependency on heating and allow for beautiful light and open interior spaces, maintaining a close connection between outside and inside.

At the heart of this wonderful home are two Vaillant Ground Source Heat Pumps providing all the heating for the house, hot water, Swimming pool water and air. The heat pumps ground collector comes from over 4 Kilometers of ground pipes installed in the adjacent farmers field.
